Bucks County Dragon Boat Festival update

The Bucks County Dragon Boat Festival was a labor of love and something our club looked forward to hosting each year. From the colorful dragon boats racing on Lake Luxembourg, the beat of the drums, to hearing the crowd cheering on the sidelines we were extremely proud that we were able to host a dragon boat race at Core Creek Park for 5 years. It was a pleasure and honor to raise funds for the Bucks County Housing Group and help those within our community.

It is with much sadness that we announce that our 2023 Bucks County Dragon Boat Festival has been cancelled due to low registrations. At this time, we do not have any plans to bring it back. We are extremely proud that we were able to bring the excitement of dragon boat racing to beautiful Bucks County and Core Creek Park and to donate $211,000 to the BCHG over the years.

We want to express our sincere gratitude to our supporters and many volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event a success in the past. Even though our festival is no longer, we hold tightly onto our wonderful memories of dragons racing on our Lake Luxembourg and know that our festival made a positive impact on the world and the people around us. And for that we are grateful!
