What is Dragon Boating?
It’s the ultimate team sport…with its beginnings in ancient China, dragon boating is the fastest growing international team water sport. Dragon boating is a unique sport in its ability to attract members with varying cultural and occupational backgrounds, as well as varying degrees of age and fitness levels. A typical dragon boat holds up to 20 paddlers in pairs, a drummer and a steersperson. Dragon boating is a team sport with a dash of culture and a great competitive edge, but above all else is fun!
