Fusion wins multiple berths to Ravenna, Italy in 2024

Bucks Dragon Boat Triumphs at Club Crew National Championships held at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota July 21-23.
In a thrilling display of skill and teamwork, the Bucks Dragon Boat, also known as the Bucks Fusion, emerged victorious at the CCNC2023, showcasing their dominance in various categories.
On the first day of the competition, the Bucks Fusion set the tone by dominating the 200-meter races. Their SrA Fusion Women Standard team paddled with grace and finesse, securing a well-deserved first place. Not stopping there, the Bucks Fusion’s Sr A Fusion Mixed Small Boat and Sr A Open Small Boat teams also showed their prowess, with Mixed earning Gold and Open earning Silver.

As the second day dawned, the Bucks Fusion continued their winning streak in the 500-meter races. The Bucks Fusion Women Standard Boat demonstrated their unyielding determination and emerged as champions in their category. The Bucks Fusion Mixed SrA Small Boat team followed suit, capturing yet another gold medal, cementing their status as a force to be reckoned with.

With the competition entering its final day, the Bucks Fusion remained unstoppable. In the challenging 2000-meter races, their SrA Women Standard team again emerged triumphant, showcasing their stamina and resilience. The Bucks Fusion’s SrA Mixed Small and SrA Open Small teams also secured first-place finishes, further solidifying their position as true champions.

The Bucks Fusion’s exceptional performances did not go unnoticed. The Sr A Women Standard Boat and Sr A Mixed Small Boat teams earned the prestigious title of National Champions, marking their remarkable achievements at the CCNC2023.
As a testament to their outstanding performance and camaraderie, the Bucks Fusion has also secured two berths to represent their country at the Club Crew World Championships in Ravenna, Italy, in September 2024.
